Cavity Pipes

Dependable and economical
Whenever cavities in concrete are to be provided, either as ducts for supply pipes or conveying belts, for the anchoring of machines, for transport or anchor bolts in finished parts, etc., or for foundation sheathings, Hydra cavity pipes allow for an economical and technically appropriate solution.

Custom-made for every demand
The pipes are manufactured from steel strips with corrugated profile in Bright steel, optionally galvanized steel Special materials upon request.

Your advantages:

  • low manufacturing costs
  • favourable availability
  • availability within short periods
  • low weight
  • easy handling
  • high mechanical resistance
  • inside and outside profile
  • high shearing strength
  • individually manufacturable in every transportable length
  • compliance with the individual requirements of the application or the construction site

Typ 7111, 7511, 7631

round

The wide range of dimensions of round cavity pipes covers diameters from 21 mm to 1,500 mm. A general profile height from minimum 2.5 mm to 8.00 mm allows for the use of these pipes in anchor engineering. The continuous inside and outside profile allows for force-locking anchoring, but also for the construction of cavities e.g. in beams without any problems.

Designs

Typ 7111: DN 30 – DN 95

Typ 7511: DN 100 – DN 200

Typ 7631: DN 250 – DN 1500

Material:
Bright steel, optionally galvanized steel

Delivery:
In factory lengths of 5m or in adapted lengths as requested by customer. Length tolerances for fix lengths in mm:
up to DN 250 ± 5
from DN 250 ± 20

Typ 7531

rectangular

The cavity pipe with square or rectangular cross section is mainly used in prefabricated concrete engineering. The wide range of dimensions and cross-sections allow for optimum application. Mainly with only limited concrete cover of elements or whenever passages or anchor points are specified, the square cavity pipe provides the required flexibility with the additional benefit of an increased tolerance range.

bendable

The so-called bendable pipe demonstrates its advantages when being used with complex parts in walls, ceiling or also in bottom plates with backfill openings for the starter bars and their subsequent backfilling or press fitting. A characteristic feature of this pipe is its profile, which allows for a relatively easy bending of a 90° bend without buckling. This means that the complete cross-section of the pipe remains unchanged, thus guaranteeing that no cavities or other inclusions occur.

Parallelly, the pipe has the required longitudinal stiffness, i.e. additional fixing is in general not required.
Cover plates made of steel or plastic are available for almost all dimensions.

Corrugated rectangular tubes for tie rod

Corrugated rectangular tubes for tie rod

Hydra rectangular tubes have been specifically designed for use in precast concrete. They combine the advantages of the classic round tubes like

  • Low weight
  • High mechanical resistance
  • High shear composite by outer and inner corrugation with the advantage of a bigger cross-section sizes

Advantages

  • High shearing strength
  • Extraction forces calculable as in round tubes
  • Can also be used in tight dimensional tolerances and limited space
  • Easy installation
  • Execution in bright steel, other materials on request
  • Variable in length via plug system

Application

Werever positive connections are required and make it through narrow installation situation or low concrete cover the use of traditional round tubes difficult The bent rectangular tube can be delivered prebent according to customer requirements.

Dimensions

Possible cross-sections of rigig and curved rectangular tube

from 60 x 140 mm

to 100 x 200 mm
