Cavity Tube
Profiled cavity tubes offer a cost-effective and technically optimal solution wherever recesses are provided in the concrete, be it as passages in beams or similar, for anchor bolts in mechanical and plant engineering, as well as in precast concrete construction for the implementation and casting of the tension anchors.
Applications
Anchoring technology
– Excellent, force-locking connection
due to the profiling
– for machine foundations
– for crane rails
– for high-bay warehouses
– inclusion of anchoring technology in bridge construction
Foundation and foundation area
– as formwork, recess for mast foundations
– so-called add-on formwork for bored piles
Ductwork
– as passages in beams, walls and floor slabs
– as protective pipes
– as recesses for subsequent pouring of two concrete elements
Custom-made products
– as pre-assembled installation kits in walls and ceilings,
for supply lines
– can also be used in existing systems, for line renovations
– designs on request
Tube types – round
Round cross-section – rigid
The variety of dimensions for the round recess pipes ranges from a diameter of 21 mm to 1500 mm. A general profile height of at least 2.5 mm to 8.00 mm makes it possible to use the pipes in anchoring technology. The continuous internal and external profiling enables a force-locking connection to be made. But recesses (passages), e.g. in beams, can also be made without any problems thanks to the high mechanical strength.
Round cross-section – flexible
The so-called bendable pipe shows its advantages in difficult components in walls, ceilings or even floor slabs with casting openings for the connecting irons and their subsequent casting or pressing. The pipe is characterized by its profile, which makes it relatively easy to bend a 90-degree bend without any kinks occurring. This means that the entire cross-section of the pipe is retained, thus ensuring that no cavities or other inclusions are created.
Rohrtypen – quadratisch
Type 7531 rectangular tube
The square or rectangular recess pipe is used primarily in the precast concrete industry. The large number of cross-sections means it offers optimal application possibilities. The rectangular pipe has proven itself particularly when larger cross-sections are required for casting the anchors, but only a limited area is available due to space constraints. The rectangular pipe also offers additional benefits in terms of installation tolerances.
Type rectangular tube for tension anchors
Rectangular tubes for tension anchors are used wherever force-locking connections are required and where the use of classic round tubes is difficult due to cramped installation situations or low concrete cover.
Accesories
Depending on the application and use of recess pipes, it makes sense to provide them with a lid or base. There are two versions: the lid without a “rim” and the version with a so-called nail edge.
Plastic lid without rim
Simple sealing plugs suitable for the inner pipe diameter.
Plastic lid with rim
If tubes are installed horizontally between the formwork, the pipes can be fixed to the formwork via the covers (by nailing or gluing) using the so-called nail edge.
Steel lid mounted
They are particularly useful when pipes are installed as anchoring points in the foundation, for example in machine foundations or high shelving. The covers are welded to the pipes and cannot come loose during installation or when concreting.
